This rewarding volunteer role involves working in our Miami Thrift Shop assisting customers with their purchases, receiving incoming donations, and sorting and pricing stock and cash handling experience.. This position would suit any applicant passionate about helping their local community and those wishing to help raise funds as part of a thriving fundraising group.
The position requires the successful applicant to attend a shift for 4 hours on a weekly basis and be available for a minimum of 3 months. Full orientation and training is provided. Cash handling is part of this role and the use of a cash register/eftpos machine is required.
Skills required – Good people skills, cash handling and the ability to learn how to use the cash register, the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
Skills to be gained – Retail, merchandising and customer service experience
