
Volunteer Admin Assistant - Reception

This role involves co-ordinating our very busy reception desk at the shelter. Tasks include greeting customers, assisting with data entry, adoption queries, answering the phones, responding to emails, typing correspondence and other general office administration tasks.
This role is available Monday - Sunday, 7:30 am - 11:30 am and 11:30am - 15:30 pm. We ask for a commitment of one four hour shift per week for a minimum of 3 months. Full orientation and training is provided.

Skills required – Excellent communication skills. Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Database entry. Ability to work independently, take initiative and multitask.
Skills to be gained – Knowledge of the RSPCA. Experience with various administrative duties and further develop customer service skills. Learning to interact with all our animals and spending quality enrichment time with the animals and saving lives!
