Volunteer Cat & Dog Enrichment

This rewarding volunteer role would suit any applicants that love animals, and anyone looking for a worthwhile way to spend their spare time.
The position involves cuddling and playing with our cats and kittens, dogs and puppies in their pens to help reduce the stress they feel in a shelter environment. The position is available 7 days of the week from 12.00pm - 2.00pm. We ask for a minimum commitment of 2 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months. Full orientation and training is provided.
Skills required – Basic animal confidence and the ability to work independently.
Skills to be gained – Animal handling and training techniques, animal disease control, animal shelter experience.
