This rewarding volunteer role would suit any applicants that wish to spend their spare time outside, around animals and giving back to the community.
This vital position involves mulching, weeding, planting and garden planning; general tidying and upkeep of the Shelter's gardens and supplying specific off-cuts for native animals in our care. Full orientation and training is provided.
Skills required – Gardening experience required; knowledge of native vs non-native plants.
Skills to be gained – Experience been involved in a large scale gardening project, knowledge of supplying native animals with sufficient fauna.
