Are you willing and able to donate four (4) hours per week of your time to the RSPCA?
In this rewarding role, you will be working as an integral member of our adoption centre team.
Due to the busy nature of our adoption centre environment, you will be involved in some, or all, of the following:

speaking with interested members of public about adopting an animal

determining the suitability of an interested party in adopting an available animal through successfully completing the adoption process - this may include a short interview and property check, and may require you to deny an unsuitable home

assisting with adoption paperwork, and
-
meeting and greeting customers as they come into the adoption centre and directing them accordingly.
A drivers licence, and knowledge of dog, cat or wildlife breeds would be an advantage, but are not essential.
Spend a few hours making a real difference by helping animals find their forever homes. Please send a copy of your resume and advise your availability.
Skills required – customer service and communication skills; great teamwork skills; ability to work independently, take initiative and multitask; computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is an advantage; must be prepared to be involved in some confronting situations.
Skills to be gained – animal handling experience; opportunity to further enhance your customer service and administration skills. Become part of a great team of people that have one thing in common – an affinity with animals. Be trained in the RSPCA adoption process and extend your client liaison skills.
