We are currently recruiting for regular volunteers to photograph all animals in the shelter. This photos are used in various ways including reuniting lost animals with their owners, promoting animals that are available for adoption etc. We require a volunteer with commitment of 4 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months.
Skills required – good photography skills (experience taking photographs of animals preferred). Ideally you will have your own digital camera. Ability to upload photos onto our database. Comfortable with handling cats and dogs.
Skills to be gained – animal handling and training techniques, animal shelter experience, improved experience working with animals.
Benefits – interaction with our animals.
Volunteer characteristics required – PATIENCE! Commitment and the ability to work independently.
